So real !!
Listen a lot lately to this record!!
Tangld up in blue makes this album
I enjoyed this album after years of thinking it was gonna suck. It is much better than Budokan. Tangled up in blue is incredible and the audience on it aint me babe makes it worthwhile. The other songs are fine but Dylan's voice starts to wane. Also masters of war is good.
may first Dylan's album
It was my first Bob Dylan LP. It was 1984 in ex Yugoslavia, I'm from Croatia, and I was 14. I'm from the working class family and they where listening a Croatian pop music, me too. I had a friend and his folks were intellectuals so they where listening some other kind of music like The Doors and Bob Dylan. He was crazy about Bob. So, he had a few compilations, it was hard to get a studio album, and at first I didn't understand nothing. Then, in the music store, the guy in front of me bought this record and I said, with out thinking, May I have one. I don't think this is a great live album, he made some live recordings much batter, and I ready don't listen to it to much now. I just have a story with this album.
It's Ok

Can't say more that it's Ok
the version of tangled up in
No Rating
the version of tangled up in blue on this record is absolutely mindblowing! I can´t get enough of it! it´s so...wintry. compare to the version on live in ´75 where you can just about feel the heat coming off it. think it´s played going g to f with a capo on fifth. best version i´ve ever heard.
wonderful album really, wish i´d been there!
Audience Energy Makes for Great Listening
This is the first Dylan Live album I ever owned. Compared to the previously released Columbia live albums of "Before The Flood," "Hard Rain" and "At Budokan," This is my favorite. It has an energy that the others don't seem to have. The audience really gets into these performances, and they are often heard cheerfully singing along with songs such as "It Ain't Me, Babe," and "Ballad Of A Thin Man." It has a nice mix of electric and accoustic tracks, which make it a very listenable album. The sound quality is superior to the previous two.
However, the best live performance releases by Columbia are found on the Bootleg Series Live 1964, Live 1966 and Live 1975. I recommend all 3 of these releases and the Columbia Release of the Gaslight Cafe performances from 1962, which is an album that was initially available only from Starbucks, but you can purchase it onlie at Amazon.com. There are several unofficial bootlegs on CD or vinyl kicking around too.
It's Live
It's live, and live Bob is always interesting, though this less so than some. Bob stated this is his favorite version of Tangled Up in Blue. I find it interesting, but the recent live renditions from the late 90's and on are the best I've heard.
What we really need in live Bob, and there hasn't been a true official live release since this, is a live release from 2000-2002 with Tony, George, Charlie and Larry. That band was absolutely outstanding. It is kind of disappointing that from what I can tell, there is not much on Tell Tale Signs. Perhaps that is still coming. If they get that one right, it would be huge.

Tangled Up In Blue
The New Testament Apocalyptic version of this song has always been a real inspriration to me
'....me I'm heading towards to Son'
'.....all under strong delusion, all their beds are unmade'
Enlgish hard rockers
Here's Dylan reworking the classics with a some British hard rockers backing him. It is what it is.
Highway 61 and I and I make it worth
I've always thought it wasn't so bad as people tend to say, but after hearing some bootlegs of the tour I must say it doesn't get to reflect the level of it. It's only a little uncomplete taste of it, and that's the problem with it. I adore the Highway 61 and I and I versions. These two make the album worth a listen.
