Great songs but very unnecessary

Not Dark Yet

Today, I'm writing about song that were on the "Wonder Boys" soundtrack.

"Not Dark Yet" is one of these amazing songs. It is such a sad song about the perceived loss of humanity and the soul. It is about being beaten down by a dark and marred world. There isn't a glimpse of hope in this song - it is about the paralyzing loss of hope.

It could be a 3 CD set, and they could sell it for $29.99 (Unlikely). Of course I wouldn't buy it then either, cause I can make my own CD with these tracks. However, it would be a wonderful introduction to Dylan's best music that isn't heard all that much.

Simply Dylan

Yes, We've heard all these songs before but it's Dylan and I've simply gotta have it. Still rolling, Still moving, still grooving;)

The New Zealand edition of

The New Zealand edition of this album was the first Dylan album I ever owned and introduced me to his music. A good place to start and since then I have gone on to collect over 40 of his album. Don't really listen to this one anymore, not sure that matters though.

Not another one?

Don't get me wrong the music is fantastic, but what with Essential and the three volumed greatest hits PLUS the new DYLAN greatest hits, do I really need another one.... no is the answer, especially when there are no unreleased tracks on this best of to tempt me.

The hits plus....

All the songs are great. It's basically a streamlined version of Essential adding "Summer Days". Probably a good introduction to Dylan, but the converted will avoid.
