7 deadly sins.....
soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many rules 2 bend.
Swedish Soul that's a great video: it's a gift
And Bob if you read this: please allow more photos or have videos made each year of your tours like this one. This person who made this video did you a favor. At this stage you should be taking more photographs ...if you can't see the reason then.........The man that made this video is in the Czech republic. And this is a beautiful gift to you and your legacy.
Whether you wanted it or not : you have become the greatest living rock star ever. The length of your career and the abundance of material and the diversity.
None of lasts beyond one human life so I as fan would ask that you allow some photos and footage from here on out. You are so iconic that you can't deny it. Without flashes of course.
Your existence is not private, you have become a national treasure.
It was your destiny.
The sign said NO Cameras!
Some people respect the wishes of Dylan and the venue in which he is playing.

ahh The Workman's Friend
When things go wrong and will not come right
Though you do the best you can
When life looks black as the hour of night
A pint of plain is your only man.
When money's tight and hard to get
And your horse has also ran
When all you have is a heap of debt
A pint of plain is your only man.
When health is bad and your heart feels strange
And your face is pale and wan
When doctors say you need a change
A pint of plain is your only man.
When food is scarce and your larder bare
And no rashers grease your pan
When hunger grows as your meals are rare
A pint of plain is your only man.
In time of trouble and lousey strife
You have still got a darlint plan
You still can turn to a brighter life
A pint of plain is your only man.

Highway 395 revisited
Luckylucy, can't die in bliss if my bliss wasn't followed.
Would've done anything in this godalmighty world if he'd just let me follow him down... felt left behind when he went his way and I went mine. I thought... man if I could just intercept him between car and airport I'd let him know I'm totally qualified for the position of 'baby'.
Ya know.. the one who someday ain't gonna worry po' him any more.. ah well :)
Keep tossin coins..and may your wishes all come true.
I'm looking for my lucky charm!
Ah and do ye think ahr good friend, Bob will be o'wearin' his fancy green satin shirt with a bowler hat that evenin'? He'll really be o'gettin back ter his roots, the ol leprechaun!!!! Perhaps he'll bust a new limerick for auld lang syne! Seein' as how he'll be in Limerick, yer know!
I'm going to throw some coins in a well and make a wish. . .
"In Bob we Trust. Got Dylan?"
Geez, Hrog!
What a classic story! You lucky, lucky gal! I'd be telling that one to my grandkids, if I had any! I was at that concert and it truly was a magical evening! I could die a blissful woman after an encounter like you had!
"In Bob we Trust. Got Dylan?"
Argh! What I wouldn't do
to be in Limerick the 4th of July...Swede, he's gotta make it there between Slovenia and Ireland. Hmmm Scotland? ....let me gather my pennies... Did I tell ya?.. I was driving back home after seeing him in Tahoe last August...and there he was right beside me in the back of a shaded vehicle....the chances...to think if I wouldn't have roadside stopped to take in Lake Tahoe...or gone back to hotel to fetch my Dylan boots... He was enroute to Reno airport and I was trying to maintain speed whilst scramblin for paper and pen (feel bad because I caused him to sit straight up from a resting position the length of the seat with his boots propped on the arm rest of the opposite window). I wrote Bob Dylan? (with a heart :) He gave me a most handsome wave...Japan's in good hands!!
what time is it in japan?
is it today or tomorrow right now over there?
which way is the world spinning?
so many moons have come and gone

Get the time on your computer
controlpanel, date&time, tidzone, Bob Dylan time (it will come, I promise, they just have to mount a little chip into that mans shoes)
Kate, I bet you´re dreaming of him right now!
Hej då Hrog!
He will fix your computer so that you can get the letters å, ä and ö. (Ö means island, btw) Bye, see you!
I have a Coke and a ...
guilt trip for poisoning my body and supporting the largest sugar purchasing company in the world.
Well, I'm out for awhile. Have to take my computer to my brother....have porn (guess that's what I get for speaking out against it) and viagra ads poppin up everywhere.... one of the few products Pfizer Pharmaceutical offered free to people weathering the economic downturn...that and Zoloft (studies show no benefit from antidepressant drugs...as if it's so inhuman to be depressed anyway). Ahhh, how charitable.....NOT! How market strategical!! hej da!!
point is.....
4 ever action, there is a reaction
every object in motion, remains in motion, unless an outside force acts upon it. the law of gravity and uniform circular motion.

god has provided all we need on earth 2 heal, but we r not choosing it.
did u know the royal family uses homeopathy, so if u had all the money in the world, would u?
bigger question on my mind is ....does bob dylan get jet lag or motion sickness with all that travelling?, cause we got a cure 4 that 2.
And....
what sort out normal women from bitches is that bitches always want to have the last word - so don´t you dare to reply to this comment!
Just joking, women ARE in love with Bob Dylan, that´s why we last longer!
Hum hum!
That´s what´s sort out boys from girls - they know when it´s time to leave.
Just like I don´t want to be baptized because people told me that I would end up in hell without it - and I decided to stand up for all children in the world who don´t have the opportunity to be baptized - just for the same reason - I will stand up for all the kids that haven´t had breastfeeding, including my own adopted kids. I CAN MAKE IT THROUGH - YOU CAN MAKE IT TOOOOOOOO!I
Katemaster
no boys in this here classroom.....
(reckon I scared the last of them off :(
Indeed, immune systems at risk. For sure, food is medicine (no doubt my immune system was suppressed when I got asthma...ate a lot of cold hot dogs and cereal growing up ewww!...that is, until I discovered how to make frenchtoast mmm!) Food today is stripped of nutrients, over processed, genetically modified, pesticide/wax/preservative/dye/steroid/hormone/antibiotic/pathogen ridden, etc...more poisonous than vaccines. BUY LOCAL and BUY ORGANIC!!! Better yet, plant a garden :)
u silly boys and girls
i am not concerned with where HIV comes from, i am concerned with how human beings contract it. i am contending that it is not without a compromised immune system does a human being contract HIV and furthermore, among the contributing factors 2 a suppressed immune system is systematic widespread vaccination in a population. do u realized an entire generation, going on two, has limited immune strength and that with continued non-breastfeeding there with be an increase in the depletion of the next generations collective immune systems? AIDS could not take hold in a body running at maxium efficiency. god didnt design it that way. drugs and pharmacueticals get in the way of true healing. but true healing is no piece of cake and hurts a lot. it comes down 2 choosing life ....or not.
education is key and using food as medecine is the way 2 go from birth.
Mr Dylan with band
Have a nice time in Japan! Travel safely and bang the drum slowly and play the fife lowly
You know the song in my heart!!!!!
WITH LOTS OF LOVE!
Yay!
For Spring :) :) :)
A lot of healing..
has to do with forgivness, mostly to forgive ourself.
Kate, some people say that HIV comes from monkeys in Gibraltar (Spain). They dug up an englishman (buried in England) who died 1959 and found out that he died in AIDS. He was stationated in Gibraltar as a military when a monkey gave him a bite. Interesting. I bet those apes weren´t right vaccinated (or unvaccinated). I wonder what the world would look like if that englishmen had bite that monkey instead.
Spring arrived today!
Always had minor allergies
but asthma onset immediately after first childbirth. Worked in sick building and lived in sick apt. Bats flew into heat duct where managers placed lots of toxic mothballs to rid them. No one else was affected...but I tasted death that winter.
Interesting Swede, when I was researching the history and treatment of asthma, I came across an 18th cent American medical book that attributed asthma to having a "cold mother". Ironically, the maternal cycle was broke by me being close to my children...
(but my heart is not weary, it’s light and it’s free)
excuse me, may i chime in?
there is a correlation between the advent and widespread use of vaccines and the rise in asthma. besides asthma, the other chronic and long lasting side effects of vaccines are allergies and immune suppression disorders. in fact HIV could have only cropped up in a society whose collective immune systems have been compromised, and besides poisoning from the environment there is a systematic and mass poisoning across the board with the bad side effects of vaccination and other pharmaceutical ingestions. how many deaths will it take 2 see that 2 many people have died?
i think when it comes 2 words, no one can combine them like bob dylan. he mixes colors with the same ease, and blends tones 2gether in perfection. i am curious if he can cook or bake with the same magic?
different reasons
This is from a guiding swedish website:
"In recent decades, the prevalence of asthma increased among both children and adults and is now estimated that six to eight percent of the population have asthma. The reasons for this increase is partly unknown, but both the heritage, environment and lifestyle is considered an impact."
Psychological I´ve heard that asthma is "a cry for mama".
Hrog - you can reflect on it for a month or so and maybe you will find a clue.
I´ll send you a private message when I find information that you can use. With love!
funny ladies :)
Swede, is asthma prevalent in Sweden? In trying to uncover why I have it, Dr. flippantly said "genetics kicked in". My grandma jotted down that her grandfather had it..the one from Sweden. No one else has/had it as far as I can tell. Just curious.
I bet I got it from years working in a 'sick building'..an old federal building lacking proper ventilation...or I started suffocating from all the people I assisted living on the dole (like my brother: master deceiver; master blogger). So I left and obtained a job in the private sector only to find myself suffocating from all the people my employer was living off of (master deceiver; master insurance money collector). Hard to draw the line between free enterprisers and free loaders....more government, less government.
Dylan regarding Pres. Obama : "He's redefining what a politician is, so we'll have to see how things play out. Am I hopeful? Yes, I'm hopeful that things might change. Some things are going to have to...America is in a state of upheaval....he'll be the best president he can be. Most of those guys come into office with the best of intentions and leave as beaten men".
well, he had a chance to sing
...As the President now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin’.
He didn´t even make it a Freudian slip as far as I can hear.
i dunno
when i view the white house performance i see and hear bob dylan in the sweetest possible way telling barack hussein obama and all his socialist cronies 2 get f*cked.
thats how i see it, and that is why i love bob dylan, he sticks it 2 them and they dont even know they r getting slammed! LOL
as far as i am concerned this administration is about taking my freedom of choice away and having the gov't run my life. no thanks, i will remain with bob, a freedom fighter, no matter what the cost. i am glad we fought, i only wish we won.......
A reminder of why we live!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6l6TdPn5Wg&NR=1
Bob Dylan at the White House!
Life is a gift given to us because we are going to die.
We..feel the same, we just saw it from a different point of view
Thanks for clarifying your perspective (for which his son picks up the banner with cover art on new album
http://thedeadhub.com/jakob-dylan-releases-second-track-from-women-and-c... ...unbound but faceless, she doesn't put her gun in the ground either...but she must've ran her horse into the ground..along with her riding gear :) About his visual art, Dylan said ''I'm not trying to make social comment or fulfill somebody's vision" -- but his 'statue of liberty' says otherwise "rape is not sex" (in a broader sense of the word).
Regarding "we neeeeeeeeed him on our side", I am reminded of this song (though I despised the Britney $$empire -now dust- I am a fan of the spirit who survived the raping)....the first song she actually penned...before her escape (not unchallenged) into family life (like Dylan) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyew-WQZ6vk
I am also reminded of a response to an American's comment in the news forum about the woman killed in protests in Iran..and how the women there are so oppressed. Stunned to see a mid eastern name, I read his words "we don't sell our sisters to pornography".
On a personal note, I had a hard parenting day yesterday. My daughter kept swankin her walk and acting over the top "sexy" girly. I finally got to the bottom of what was promoting it. She said she saw it in a Lady Gaga video. I tried to explain to her that that form of entertainment is a money maker, not an example of how to be. I said she doesn't really walk like that..just like "princesses" (she pretends to be) don't really look like Cinderella. That whole aisle dedicated to pink stuff is just to make money.... thereby enculturating young girls. With tears she furthered the conversation by getting a full confession from me that Santa is not real and just a big money maker. I sidetracked her next quandary regarding God and Jesus by going back to the audacity of Christmas. I admonished, "and tell them all to quit cutting down trees...we need them alive in nature not dead in our homes!"
(All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie)
I'll go get some chamomilla. Meantime here's a lullaby:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQ2yXWi0ppw
and some interesting stats:
http://www.ncccusa.org/news/090130yearbook1.html
Lindner writes, "A slowing of the rate of growth of some churches and the decline of membership of others ought to be the focus of continued research and thoughtful inquiry." mmhm start with He-God.
hrog she has no face!
she has no hands or feet, r they bound? the downward curve of her half smile, her pink flesh, she has no name, unlike full frontal CASSANDRA. she has light, she has files, she is a thinker, a writer, a swimmer. in contrast to the other prints, this portrait stands out as a very specific and focused endeavor. bob dylan has captured with paint and brush the alienation and struggle many women feel who r abandonned, forsaken and oppressed. the singleness of her color, lost but not without hope, her name could be hazel, lilly, rita mae, sugarbaby, jokerman....bob dylan is a total advokate of women. we neeeeeeeeed him on our side. i am glad he is enlightened, i am glad he "gets" it, i am glad we have him. i pray he is safe in his travels, st theresa, st christopher r with him.
If it's speakin to oppression, Im not hearin..and I'm listenin
(then again, mama don't put Her guns in the ground). I heard, "lay lady lay" (if she hadn't already). She's wearin green...they didn't call him lucky for nothin :)
Thanks for homeopathic tips. Taken pulsatilla (though not tearful and clingy). Snowed 7" through the night, collapsing murk into the ground. Then Sun shone bright..took deep breaths...lungs fare well.
woman on a bed
is my fav. it speaks 2 the oppression of women, their struggle in the fight for equality.
hate 2 say it, but in the cases of asthma it is more of an undoing process than anything u can "take". smoking and inhaling pollutants r out, obviously. and that is not an easy task 4 some. here r some classic across the board remedies, however, u may need none or a combination of these depending where ur body is at:
arsenicum- anxious, tosses and turns until they become weak. wporse around midnight.
byronia - wheezing with dryness, not much phlegm, worse from movement of any kind. usually irritable.
chamomilla- asthma which comes on after anger.
kali carb - breathing difficulties which are relieved by bending forward. whistling, wheezing, choking cough.
mag phos. -spasmodic nervois asthma with exhaustion.
nux vomica - asthma linked to stomach disorders. clothes feels too tight. finds fault constantly. angry and impatient.
pulsatilla - worse in the evening, in a warm room, and after eating rich foods. desires fresh air. may be tearful and clingy.
homeopathy looks at the whole symtomatic picture for the correct remedy. good luck finding the right one but know its out there. there is nothing under the sun that cannot be healed. main thing is 2 just get off the PHARMS. they will eventually destroy life.
This right here forum?
Right Jan. Tis a dream....or rather, a series of them..a meeting of the minds. Far out, really... making friends on computer.. (ya may not want to bother..I'm a linkin fool) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wDDxM1F4xY
Almost like her as much as Dylan... the poet/musician, that is. Can't get into visual art as much as audial. Impressed though with his multifacetness. I'll go with the 'rooftop bar' piece as my favorite..how bout you, Kate? Also wonderin if you have nature's cure for asthma (reliant on pharmaceuticals..tried nature's gamut... mormon tea helped til FDA banned it... talk bout rage against the machine). As for playin in Japan...how bout (like 1978) Going, Going, Gone.
Now scuse me while I let my representative know that I oppose two recent bills: limitations on public sex ed and tax increase on tobacco (might as well kiss the sky during my lunch break...well, guess I do, in a sense, by executing bd.com....'sides it's awfully murky out there still...what a long winter it's been...what I wouldn't do to be drivin to Zion in the sunshine - a listinin to Dylan - here's my photo of it for now...forget the one of me..blah blah blah..speakin of, where's that Collins? off to change the world as we know it?? :)
rage against the machine
i am picking them off, one intruder at a time, like a hidden william tell in the forest, poised with arrow 2 strike at a seconds notice, but for now my Peanut is safe. he sleeps soundly without the pharmaceutical machine breathing down his back..... a pain "moderator", she said, just to make him comfortable with absolutely NO side effects. the red flag shot up. right there was a warning. i knew i had 2 keep him off this latest round of poison they want him 2 ingest. the funniest part was when i told the doctors the homeopath had given him gold and thyroid support 2 correct his wiring, they were aghast, cautioning that he will be poisoned ingesting gold. i laughed out loud. the gold is succussed 2 the infinitesimal dose, leaving the 'essence'. this is the spark that ignites the immune system into action, given there r no pharmaceutical roadblocks impeding the heal. and so goes the fight 4 time and my beautiful puppy's life. but thanks 4 asking.
is anyone going 2 be in japan 4 the shows? my prayers turn toward st christopher again. that he will carry bob dylan and his tour safely across the waters as he did the baby jesus. it is such a far place 2 go 2 share the good news. i wonder what japan needs 2 hear? i bet bob dylan will give them exactly that. i am still holding my breath on the frigid shore, wondering if the ocean will ever warm up again 4 me 2 jump in. 4 now it is just a clear calm cold and peaceful mass of water butting up against the edges of my sanity, an abandoned place, yet stunningly beautiful nonetheless.
Kate
Girl what did you have for dinner last night? That was no dream, this right here, this is a dream!--------How's the pup?
oooooooooooo i had a dream
his paintings and etchings and fine art were procured by a tiny town museum along the ocean and the sky and the sea vibrated the same colors and emotions came out of the pictures. i must have been the curator, because i kept a careful eye on the comings and goings of everyone who passed thru and especially kept vigilant watch over a certain piece, framed in ornate gold that carried most of the flesh colors, like sea shells, like sand.
i know this sounds nuts, but bob dylan as a fine artist is equal 2 bob dylan the poet and bob dylan the musician. thats how strongly i felt when i woke up. his paintings evoke the same tears, the same laughter as his songs with me. go look. www.bobdylanart.com
ty jan, everyone
4 ur concern. i am confidant my peanut will pull thru.... now lets start concentrating on the japan tour. i say bob dylan will do the following:
girl from the north county
if not 4 u
beyond here lies nothing.
what do u say? i asked him once how he picks his set lists and he told me he "does what works". i am sure he approaches his set lists like a scientist analyzing data. there is a method 2 his madnessssssssssssssssssssss!
she killed them? haha y'all keep me smilin..most of the time...
(not necessary by any means:) I would love Elmo to do a revival for us...(long time passing). Dietrich, like Dylan, is not for everyone. Glad to see you Trust Yourself....... "You’re on your own, you always were, in a land of wolves and thieves. [You] don’t put your hope in ungodly man or be a slave to what somebody else believes."
hrog
That's the first I've ever heard of that woman, and I think it will be the last!Where did all the flowers go?She killed all of the flowers, maybe we could get Elmo to do a revival for us!That was funny.huh?
Kate
They are doing surgery on your pup today? You will be in my thoughts, best wishes.---jan
go on my page and see my beautiful Peanut!
he is the most beautiful dog god ever created. he is not dead yet, but 2day when they cut him open and try 2 fix his spine 2day he will die then. i just wish i could run away with him and buy him more time. the homeopathy is working ever so slowly and my awful husband wont believe and wont give him time and he is jumping the gun and putting my Peanut under the knife. there is no bob dylan song 2 stop my tears. i cant hear music. i cant hear poetry. i am in a place of constant fear and sorrow and i am praying 2 st francis 2 keep my puppy safe. it is in gods hands now. and so is my heart.......
lol Jameselmo...
bit I been feelin it longa than him..fur twenty odd years that is...
(since 'Highlander' scenery -- an soundtrack..
Then touch my tears.... beautiful Queen) Sorry, back to Dylan...
Swede, 'it ain't me babe' sealed the deal. Came cross geatest hits 1 (and Joplin) cassette in an ol' Grand Central store (talkin 80s--long time ago). Course rolling stone and tambourine are o so grand - but taint me babe ..ohhh.. a lover an older brother packaged in one (hope that doesn't sound bad). Not prone to fainting, but falling....(in love again)...ahhhh Dietrich

MY NERVE SYSTEM JUST CURLS AND VIBRATE WHEN HE SPEAK!
I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR HIS BOOK WHEN HE READ IT!
I`M FALLING, FAINTING OF THAT THOUGHT!
Hey Mr. Tamborine Man
Play a song for me.---------Lucy,anyone can play at the White House,obviously.----Heck even the Jonas Brothers got that invite,[besides that was in celebration for work Bob had done in the past.]Christmas recordings are a dime a dozen.Bob sounds absolutely terrible on stage.Radio show host?He could have that job just because he's Bob Dylan. His book?Same deal, and he's not even a very good novelist,or whatever that was suppose to be.I'm not going to say much about his recent work, except that I think "Time Out of Mind" and "Love and Theft" topped the other two by a long shot.-----Kate as for the"rev" thing why be called "rev" when you're already carrying the burden of being called the "Messiah?"--p.s.Kate I am truly sorry to hear about your dog.
