NEW INTERACTIVE SINGING SESSION LAUNCHES ONLINE
NEW YORK, NY – Singing Session on Studio A Revisited has launched and allows fans around the globe to step up to the microphone in an attempt to match Bob Dylan’s unique phrasing and timbre. This is the third component of the interactive microsite which Studio 6, Havas Worldwide’s content production studio launched on November 6th to celebrate the release of the newest Bob Dylan box set, The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 from Sony Legacy Recordings.
Users are guided through “Like A Rolling Stone” and have to vocalize along with the tune. A score is given which gauges user ability and rates on pitch and timing. Scores are sharable, allowing users to post on Facebook and Twitter. For those who are able to truly master Dylan’s masterpiece, there’s a whole other level that puts their Dylan fandom to the test.

The inspiration for this site is culled from the legendary studio sessions that produced Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde. Released on November 6th, The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12 takes listeners inside the studio during the recording of those three albums. With a wealth of unreleased songs, outtakes, rehearsals, and alternate versions, the album provides a unique insight into Dylan’s creative process.
