My spirits: Lena you are so witty and funny I am sure that your man is trying to claim you. Who wouldn't. As far as my choices putting you to sleep I got a good laugh out of that.

And Rene a lovely wife and 4 children. How lucky you are really. Don't be dejected: You wouldn't like me nor be able to make me happy. My choices of men reflect my complexities. And my life has been tough like many with hundreds of disapointments and mostly struggle.

Oh, poor Tiger! I agree with Janmarina. All the man has known his entire life has been golf, golf, and more golf! He wasn't allowed to date in his teens and likely doesn't have a clue about how to be in a relationship. Add being away all the time with beautiful, spotlight seeking women throwing themselves at him everywhere, and that is a recipe for marital disaster! It's also true that his wife may have had ulterior motives by marrying him; wasn't their baby born quickly after the marriage? Happens all the time- marry celebrity, have baby, divorce, get mega child support and alimony, live happily ever after with new celebrity boyfriend! She may not be that way at all, but anyone who marries a celebrity should be prepared that infidelity comes with the territory in most cases. I heartily agree that it's no one's business but theirs and should be worked out in private. There are so many other more important things to be concerned with in our country and the world; do we somehow feel better knowing that the famous and wealthy have problems?
About the sex with famous celebrities question- I've had sex with Bob, of course, Kevin Costner, Vin Diesel, Neil Young, and a few others I can't remember at the moment, but only IN MY DREAMS!

I agree with you, Janet; the man who treats you the best is the one who wins. My husband and I don't look like we belong together when we're in public; he being older and rather sloppy and uncaring about his manner of dress, and me being more stylish and polished. But he treats me like a queen and would do anything I asked of him. He is construction trade crude and irritatingly opinionated, but I can depend on him to be there for me and he tolerates my Bob Dylan hobby, so I think I'll keep him! I took my 55 y/o blonde bombshell friend out to a bar in town while she was visiting recently and she hooked up with a 28 year old contractor/Salsa dancing king within 20 minutes of walking through the door! And men call us cougars? I think young women these days expect relationships to be like movies where the mundane details of every day life don't figure in the script and after one date, they feel they're in love and starting pushing for marriage! Men like women who have a sense of humor and can carry on an intelligent conversation and voice a thoughtful opinion. I think young women are cultivating either their minds or their beauty, but not necessarily both at the same time, which may be why men prefer older women who take care of themselves. Of course, the same goes for men, as well; some think they're the next Tiger Woods and it's only a matter of time until they're discovered, so why get a "real" job!

I agree with you janmarina. We don´t know so much about her. I know that her mother is a minister in Sweden and her father is a journalist, also in Sweden. She was working as a nanny at J. Parnevik who also is a good golfer and he introduce her to Tiger and now he says that he regrets it because she is worth so much better destiny than this.

No matter what people do in their relationships or marriage I just want to say that no one, except the persons involved, knows exactly what goes on between them. We want to know because we want to understand and to learn something, but the fact still remains that the interaction between them is a private issue, though it effects people around them and especially their children.
There are so many ways for people to control each other in a relationship.
We can help if they ask for it or if we see a great need. We can try to understand but we never know what´s really going on. A marriage now a´days isn´t only a question of love - it´s a question of functionality too.

To say my ex,has never given me a ride somewhere wouldn't be true,he has.I have talked to a couple of "old"loves.They always have regrets,but if I listen long enough,they sound like they haven't changed a bit!The thing is,every person I have ever allowed in to my life,has taught me something "new" about myself.It's not like I ever really wasted my time.Books are great teachers,but nothing beats the real thing!!Sometimes I think I let the best of the best of them go just to spare them the real heartache!----I've known some really nice guys,but I wasn't ready.I learned that the hard way!!!Big boys do cry!!

I enjoyed your story.swe-dish-soul's comment made me laugh too!You could be right Kate could be"stuck",but her abusive behavior on this web site,can't possibly end here.She must freak out in other areas of her life,like screaming at her husband and children.I try not to show,my pain in front of others.My son is really the only one who has noticed the decline in my activities.As far as my"ex"taking me to different doctors,he has never had the ability to put himself in my shoes.I actually drove myself to the hospital,the last time I had surgery.He thinks that I am pretty(I think that Julia Roberts is a doll,so pretty is just a matter of opinion) and he thinks that I am smart,and that I can get anything that I want in life.He recently said to me,"If I was you I would find some old guy,and let him build me a house on the river!"At the time a certain someone was interested in me,who was rather wealthy.Right now I could use the help and just knowing that someone was there,in case I slipped and fell would be a comfort---- but that's my style.I took it as an insult!
