Three songs made this a
Three songs made this a great concertfor me/ The bluesed up version of Leopard-Skin Pill-box Hat was excellent. Workingman Blues is my faovrite song off of Modern Times and this was an excellent version. He provided an interesting and fine version of Lonesome Death of Hattie Carrol. To be honest rest of the concert was average.
However to see Dylan still out there doing it is why I go. And he did not disappoint.

Waaaaay too Hot in the Venue...

This was my first Bob Dylan Concert... And, Yeah, I have to agree that this wasn't the best show. It was extremely hot inside the venue, which I think had ALOT to do with it. Everyone, including the audience, just seemed to be off.
Still, the performances of "Don't Think Twice"(With the Dualing Guitar's at the end) and "Simple Twist of Fate" were real joys that I'll never forget.
"We Sit Here Stranded... Though We're All Doing Our Best To Deny It"
albany show
Somehow the fates weren't aligned on this night. The TU Center has cavernous sound and the AC must have been turned off that night because it was stifling. Dylan seemed hoarse and the show never kicked into high gear as most of his shows do. There were a lot of slow tempo songs in the set, which combined w/the heat, tended to lend a sleepy mood in the audience.
Despite this, it was great to hear Watching the River Flows and Highway 61...top notch!
Albany , wow
I was there too! And my friend Florian Pittis was in my thoughts.
