Double post sorry

Great First Show!!

My husband took our 4 1/2 year old daughter to this show and when she came home she asked me if we could "Double please go on Bob Dylan tour!" She danced all night and came home happy. Couldn't ask for better than that!

Another fantastic concert

This concert was as good as the one in Milwaukee and we got 3 songs from Together Through Life!!! Even though there are a number of rave reviews here from others who attended, I was disappointed to see so many people leave before the concert was over (maybe 25% of the audience). I can't imagine leaving early (although I did in the early '90s, before I started paying attention) - those people don't realize what they've missed.

There were only six songs - Honest with Me, Forgetful Heart, Highway 61 Revisited, LARS, Jolene, and All Along the Watchtower - that were repeats from Milwaukee, and I enjoy all of them. My favorites this time were Things Have Changed, Just Like a Woman, and This Dream of You. Thanks, Bob, for another great one!

“Things Have Changed”

This was my eleventh time seeing Bob Dylan. This was by far the best performance I’ve seen. Good weather, good venue, good health, good people, all added up to equal a great time and a great show. Bob Dylan’s voice was clear and concise. The band sounded tight and crisp, crystal clear. Dylan seemed to have an extra funky jive to his piano playing. He really was on his “A” game! “Watching The River Flow” was my favorite song for years until the release of “Things Have Changed”, which is now my all time favorite tune, but “Just Like A Woman” was my favorite of the evening, and the three new songs were spectacular!

Amazing Show. I have Seen Dylan many times but last night was pure magic.
I also think it was great that they let 14 and under in free. It created a great family quality to the concert.

My dad took me to see Dylan when I was a kid, I didn't understand it then, but do now. I had the chance to take my six year old son last night and don't think he totally gets it now, but know he will someday. thanks.

wow, what a show!!

Rockin' on the River

Pelicans flying overhead and the Mississippi River just to the west, Bob's river-themed beginning was as strong as any I've heard him do. "Watching the River Flow" and "The Levee's Gonna Break" rocked and riveted the audience. So also did "Don't Think Twice," fitted between. As always, Bob trotted out song variations I haven't heard before. Particularly good were "Things Have Changed," "Thunder on the Mountain," and "All Along the Watchtower." "Watchtower" was especially interesting. It almost sounded like a different song, yet the chord structure and basic rhythm remained unchanged. It was a real treat. So was "Jolene." (That new album has some great new blues tunes!)

Fantastic concert. Bob was as lively as I have seen him; it's early in the tour. His voice was strong. "Forgetful Heart" was a treat- he stood center stage with just his harmonica. Beautiful weather, huge crowd.
