I was in Louisville, KY July 8, 2009 to help the man in "This Dream of You." Was very disappointed. Would Man return to Louisville, KY real soon and accept? Read John chapter 14, verse 27. Read 2Peter chapter 1, verses 4 through 10 and verse 19. Performance of the star was excellent, pleasing the audience Dylan-Style as always.

From the moment he comes on stage he captures me. You can say well he didnt play this or that but he played what was on his mind to play for that moment and thats the magic.Whats on his mind right then! My highlights were Man in the Long Black Coat and Hard Rain. The other songs went right with the flow of a festive summer night. It just wasnt long enough. But if Bob had played 3 hours I would probably said its still not enough. Like a kid wanting you to read the same story over and over. I never get tired of it. Please come back soon! Thank you Bob, and I'm still praying for you!

Schade das Bob mit dem neuen Album noch nicht in Germany auf Tour war. Ich hoffe sehr das er das nachholt. :) Die Song Auswahl ist im Moment wirklich große Klasse!
Paul K. Whitfield,Louisville, KY I like Bob Dylan very much but in concert I do not think it as good as his music on his albums. I realize he has done thousands of concerts so I suppose he likes to mix it up how he performs songs and which ones he plays. He was very good in Louisville and I was there but cannot say he out performed John Mellencamp's show. His show was very good and very powerful as well. Dylan is king, yet in concert I disagree. I could not make out the lyrics at all. The music was good, maybe I would of liked to just see Bob Dylan himself perform. This was the first time I have seen him perform.

Bob Dylan really rocked Louisville last night. His band really impressed and awed everybody. Willie and Mellencamp set a very high standard for Bob to reach, being the main performer, and boy, he didn't disappoint. He was definitely the best performance of the three, and though I am biased, I heard Mellencamp fans and Willie fans agree. I am so proud to be apart of the Bob Dylan legacy and there is nothing that I can say that can truly describe how excellent he is. Dylan is truly the greatest musician ever. As he says in Jolene, and as I'm sure we can all agree, he is the king.

It was an awesome show, and I hadn't seen Bob in about 15 years. Nothing lost that I could detect. Was really tickled to see him play the first three songs on guitar. Then he went to the keyboards which he really seems to enjoy playing. I had binocs and could see that he was smiling and happy. Also, did anyone else besides my group see the Oscar sitting behind his keyboard? I just thought it was so cute. Who else but Bob would do that? Highway 61 revisited was a personal favorite for me. Thought he really nailed Thunder on the Mountain, If You ever go to Houston and Jolene. Money well spent and enjoyed!!
What a great night of music! Even the opening act--a little mountain music mixed with blues--rocked. They sold me. Willie was next and he carried forward why he is one of the greatest American artists of all time. He even played a song for Michael Jackson. He "play(ed) one for Waylon" with Good-Hearted Women to follow. And what an amazing guitar player to boot. Then Cougar played. Never saw him live before and I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't play "Jack and Diane" which seemed to piss off the Cougar crowd, but to me it was one less song to play in order to get to Dylan. Dylan opened with Watching the river.......I think he has opened with this song the last three times I've seen him, but who cares, it rocked. He played the first three song with the guitar then ran behind his keyboard. IF You Ever Go To Houston was the best....well maybe Hard Rain was but they all were good. His voice was great, the band seemed a bit confused at times but who wouldn't be nervous playing with Dylan and being under the pressure they were. Overall a great show from the real king of pop, rock, country, folk whatever genre, he owns them all...........
