u r talking 2 a homeopath. one who believes the body is the vessel of the soul. the manifestation of the devine on earth. the absolute power 2 heal ur own self WITHOUT DRUGS.
when alcohol or drugs have u by the balls u need help from the spirit 2 defeat satan.
first thing u need 2 do is realize that abuse of the body (which has been created 2 the image and likeness of god) is a direct result of satan getting under ur skin.
satan does exist, so give me that BS that there is no such thing.
next u need 2 eat. ur stomach has been destroyed by poison and now u must use food as medecine.
u can die from alcohol detoxification. so make sure u have a homeopath overseeing ur healing.
start with NUX VOMICA and work in from there. every persons roadmap 2 healing is different but ALL can be healed.
finally, we need to make alcohol illegal and legalize MARIJUANA, 2 be used as god intended, natural and grown from seed.

thanks to everyone who said they liked my review and pictures. Glad they're getting seen by more than just me and my friends. I'm also glad to hear that Dylan concerts aren't usually that crazy. I expected some crazy drunks and things, but this was way worse than I expected. A fight in the pit in front of the stage started out during one of Dylan's last three songs, all because some drunk jerks totally shoved through the crowd and stood directly in front of some guy and his girlfriend who had been there way longer. Ugh, and then security threw the guy and girlfriend out! UGH.
I'm grateful for how close to the stage I was able to get, way better than the stadium seat I had intially, but I'd definitely trade the drunks for a further seat. This was my first Dylan concert, and I don't regret it at all, but I was thinking of not attending another because it's so crazy. It's nice to know that most of them aren't this bad, so if I do make another one I can expect better treatment.
Hi, Kate, Thank you fo the reply! I think substance abuse has everything to do with salvation...you know.."I'm drowning here --save me!"
My earlier rant ran a little long so I'm about to edit it but I just really felt for this person who was spat on.
Personally, I had a wonderful time. It was sureal at times. Just seeing people walking around happy to be there was a kick all its own. Dug the trumpet ~~could have done with more of that. And seeing T Bone was an unexpected surprise! Wish I had the funds to be in Reno tonight!
Thanks for your reply, me sorry so sour in my first post....the chery bomb yeller was right next to me....i could have killed him...then he was yelling out to dylan, "u sound like shit! turn up your mike and start singing!" I wnated to get a poison dart, amazonian tribe like, and shout him right in the neck...lol
I actually met plenty of great people that day...I think when there are 4 bands, in a hot day people can mistake beer for water....alot of time to consume and celebrate.
So sorry to hear how badly u where mistreated... And yeah, I thought maybe they would sing together, but is not like dylan to do so...at least I havent seen it.... usually he just shares the stage with other guitarist, never saw him share the singing stage.
Well I am going to LA to see him in october, used to work at the palladium as a cocktail waitress, so will not have the same issues there....hope u come down, it is a great venue, small, no bad seat in the house.
To kitty: thanks for breaking down the jesus misquotes. He was preaching hard, did not even wanna burst his bubble, although wanted to...what does jesus have to do with beer? lol Thanks girl....I think I saw you at the show....
peace out to my peeps....love right back at you booboo
Pillbox: Lol at "Cherry Bomb"...thanks for making me laugh. Sorry if I jumped down your throat--I actually thought you were one of 'them'; and days after the beer washed off and the hangover cleared, the spit in the face was still leaving it's mark. Mostly because I was too drunk to defend myself, and yes you are right, I do regret being too drunk to remember or experience Bob properly. The saddest part is, the spot I had at the right rail during Mellencamp (which I left to get more drinks and pee), would have been directly in front of where Bob played--front row!!! (which was why I couldn't understand why everyone was so mad at me-- thinking I wanted to steal their spots they waited hours for, when mine was much better, I just couldn't find it, lol). I didn't mean you were dumb to come so early (it's your time and obviously you are a big fan); maybe I was just lucky walking up at 6 (I thought you had to have vip tickets to go on the field, lol) and no one was even by the front right rail. Some people actually left after Willie and John so I ended up at the front without budding in front of anyone or even trying. Anyway, I gave up the chance of a lifetime being that close to Bob and will always regret it. Hopefully we both get to see him many more times and they are all better experiences.
To kitten: thank you very much for your kind words and understanding. (see I knew Bob's real peeps were good at heart!) Sorry you had a bad experience too.
I don't know about you guys, but I've never been to a Dylan show where you didn't have assigned seats 20 miles away, so maybe it crazed me a bit and half the others too to be able to get so close. What surprised me most was that Willie and Bob (or even all 3) didn't do one song together. I thought they might do at least one, otherwise, why even tour together? I'm not complaining mind you, I loved seeing all 3........next time I will definitely not move before Bob comes on!
"Well, they'll stone ya when you're walkin' 'long the street.
They'll stone ya when you're tryin' to keep your seat.
They'll stone ya when you're walkin' on the floor.
They'll stone ya when you're walkin' to the door.
But I would not feel so all alone,
Everybody must get stoned."

jesus turned the wine into his blood and he who drinks from this cup shall live 4 ever. substance abuse has nothing 2 do with salvation. dont let satan mix the truth up 4 ya.
and yeah, bob dylan gets it.
People should not take things so personal, calling someone dumb because they stood inline for their idol for 8 hours is a bit much......to me, drinking because you wanna have a good time and enhance your experience of the show...sure. lets all have a good time. however, tumbling all over yourself and invading the personal space of others cause you cant stand in your own 2 feet, is another. Some of us are actually there to experience dylan in his golden age.....trying to be sober enough when he comes on to figure out what interpretation of his song will he do tonight? how will he re-arrange it? how long will it take for us figure out which classic it is....yeah, I wait 8 hours all over again for that....this might be the last time I ever get to see him, last tour perhaps. Yelling "Chery Bomb" 15 times and being too drunk to realize that mellencamp is no longer playing, is a bit annoying, even you cant deny that. I would never try to be in the front of a stage in that type of crowd. However, if I am standing on a spot of 2x2, that I have been on all day, one would expect the mature adults drinking posse to move towards an area that I am not actually standing in and when it is that tight...lets leave the big gulp, 52 ounce of miller genuine draft in the stands, where you wont harm our enjoyment. How does someone even remember an event like that when they are completely our of control? We are not at a Def Leopard show. I am sure those who treated you in the same negative manner they treated our group of friends, where also drunk out of control. You have to admit, some people just should not drink. Lastly, I have been to 15 Dylan shows all over the country, and yes, I have never encountered so many rude individuals in a Dylan Show. There was some instability in the crowd, and your experience proves my point. Which makes your reply of calling me dumb cause I stand in line for him, a bit conflicting. But since Dylan is Dylan and going to his show is worth being held captive by Somalian Pirates. The drunken imposition experience can be easily erased after a hot shower, a quick listen to idiot wind and a few rants on a fan web site.
To my Dylan Friends....you will love the show.....but if plays in Lake Elsinore again, you might want to bring some tranquilizers,,,lol.

Yeah, I was one of the drunks spilling drinks and getting lost amidst the psycho fiends in the front center. They purposely knocked the drinks out of my hands, called me a fat ugly b*tch, spit in my face, and threatened to beat me up and kill me........yeah, I call that refined! General Admission means no one owns their seats (or their standing room), whether they are dumb enough to get there 12 hours early or not. I may have been drunk, but I was just there to have a good time, enjoy Bob, and not hurt anyone else. To the deranged short fat blond guy who attacks women: you'll get yours. To the prude who thinks drunks are backwoods idiots, I hate to tell you this, but Bob came from the same place I did and enjoys partying it up more than I do, so don't pretend you're a bigger fan or grasp his meaning any more than us "idiots with small brains who don't appreciate him." No one has a right to treat another person that way, especially when we were all there for the same reason.
Loved the show, hated some of the back woods idiots that dont appreciate dylan, those who spill drinks, try to yell out shit in the ignorant small brain undeveloped fashion.....those who cant grasp the true meaning of the artist.....those that are too drunk by mellancamp's set and try to walk all over the fans that where there since 8am....lol

of electronic communikations my post was sucked in by the tumultuous swirl of missives gone missing. i noted 24 hours ago how i thought the set list was one of my dreams.
and if i had been there live, i would have surely fainted. it runs chills up and down my spine 2 be hit with a set list this powerful. dangerous, very dangerous. when bob dylan loads it up like this i see him as the most masterful artist GOD has ever created. it blows me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
and PLEASE, dont tell me he has on a YELLLLLLOW shirt??????????????? omg, he is more beautiful in yellow and coming straight in2 our future. the summer isnt over yet babe. in fact, the neo-nazis who runs this small town on the jersey shore will be allowing us 2 sleep on the beach 2nite. hmmmmmmmmmm the incessant sound of the waves and bob dylan is all i will hear in my sleep.
st. cristopher, carry him safely across the land............i love him.
JUST VAN; YOUR REVIEW WAS EXCELLENT AND YOUR PHOTOS SUPERB. THE PHOTOS OF THE CROWD REALLY SHOW PEOPLE WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE THERE!!! THEY ARE REALLY HELPFUL TO TIE PICTURES OF THE STAGE PERFORMERS AND THE MUSIC TOGETHER.
Your clay creations are great.
.
And JD Mitch you are an absolute winner bar none.
EE gads: the shows sound like they need more security. Not my style :I will live vicariously.
When the Phoenix show (on 8/11) was cancelled, I was - of course - disappointed, but completely understood (Summertime in Phoenix is unbearable).
So, without much complaint, I simply took 2 days off of work and drove 5+ hours to Lake Elsinore and.....am so glad I made the effort to see one of my musical heroes, Bob Dylan.
Standing near the stage, I rocked and rolled and smiled with awe throughout the 14-song set.
However, the "perma-grin" did leave my face one time: When Bob and his band broke into "Like A Rolling Stone" to start the encore....the emotion of the moment overcame me and seconds later...tears rolled down my cheeks (Me, crying at a concert? Wow...as a 30+ year-old guy, I gotta say...that's a first for me).
The show was everything I hoped for and more. The band sounded great and Bob, himself, looked like he was having a lot of fun! I know all of my "new found friends" (the young and "no-so-young" packed near the stage) and I certainly did too!

Electrifying! This concert was fantastic. This was my fourth Dylan concert, and there is always a different mood/chemistry/vibe going on at each show. At this concert, Bob seemed to be in a spry mood and had a commanding stage presence. Bob sounded great! I know his voice doesn’t sound like it did in the 60’s, but I think the way he sings now compliments the style of music he and his band plays.
Bob played guitar during The Times They Are A Changin’ and that was special. Ballad of a Thin Man, Beyond Here Lies Nothin’, and Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I’ll Go Mine) were absolutely captivating. Bob brought Lucas Nelson, Willie’s son, out to play guitar during the encore, and that was incredible to hear and see. Lucas can play the guitar!! They rocked it. The set list was superb and superbly performed. Couldn’t have asked for a better show!
Also, I really enjoyed Willie Nelson! He was very interactive and friendly with the crowd. His songs are fun to sing along with. Mellencamp’s acoustic performances were captivating and beautiful, and he had great energy.

I'm going to the Fresno concert tomorrow, and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what I should bring. I was planning on bringing some folding chairs and a cooler, but I'm not sure if that would be a mistake.
But let me ask you. Are you a just a teeny bit jealous of Bob?
I mean he can still get any woman he wants. Without much effort. Except me of course. I am over the hill and too much work.
Kid you are funny.
Where are the comments?????????????Of course it is California my home state where we don't play ball like the rest of the country. I mean sometimes we can't even find our way to home plate.

Great set list. Bunch of old songs with new versions, and a bunch of new songs. Can't imagine Dylan any better, but i say that everytime i see him..
As usual he was rockin in his own world, oblivious to the crowd.
Dylan is just the best!!!!

of electronic communikations my post was sucked in by the tumultuous swirl of missives gone missing. i noted 24 hours ago how i thought the set list was one of my dreams.
and if i had been there live, i would have surely fainted. it runs chills up and down my spine 2 be hit with a set list this powerful. dangerous, very dangerous. when bob dylan loads it up like this i see him as the most masterful artist GOD has ever created. it blows me awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
and PLEASE, dont tell me he has on a YELLLLLLOW shirt??????????????? omg, he is more beautiful in yellow and coming straight in2 our future. the summer isnt over yet babe. in fact, the neo-nazis who runs this small town on the jersey shore will be allowing us 2 sleep on the beach 2nite. hmmmmmmmmmm the incessant sound of the waves and bob dylan is all i will hear in my sleep.

LAUGH. LOL
So glad I made the trip from Phoenix!!!

Thanks for the memories Bob!!
BTW - And Willie and John were terrific too.
Electrifying!
Just Van: Thanks for posting those pictures!
Bob’s the Man!

What should I bring?

I'm going to the Fresno concert tomorrow, and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what I should bring. I was planning on bringing some folding chairs and a cooler, but I'm not sure if that would be a mistake.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
