Shows how much I know about my favourite artist.
I didn't know Bob was a married man.
When did that happen?
Thought he would have learned his lesson after the first two. lol.

Ever been walking down the street and have somebody drive by with one of those jacked-up car stereos, sub-woofers feel like they're gonna blow out the windows? Can't hear nothing but "BOOM-TA-BOOMP, BOOM-TA-BOOMP, BOOM-TA-BOOMP". My daughter loves it, I don't.
Time was you couldn't get good bottom end off anything but a fairly expensive set-up. Couldn't hear the bass. Frustrating for those who wanna hear the bass part. Now the technology is here for good low end sound but everyone keys off the kick-drum, pushes it up so loud you still can't hear the string bass or bass guitar part clearly, aye carumba!
Though Willies drummer didn't use a kick drum at Chukchansi the sound was still so bottom heavy. Not his fault, the sound guy was having problems. I don't remember during which performance, but somebody actually had to cut a song short because of low end feedback.
Sound was much better at Stockton and Willie delivered a brilliant set.
Even with the improved mix on Saturday night, I still would have preferred to hear less of the kick drum and more of the bass instrument in Bob's set. The bass part seemed indistinct, muddy.
I'm not a sound guy

I was there and stayed for the duration, too...I love Bob and his legacy, poetry, songs, and early days. I have a lot of his LPs and cds, but his newest VOICE is not for me. I have campaigned over the years that I loved his early voice, and his Nashville Skyline voice and told people I loved it alot. The band and sound I saw in Fresno is not on my list of voices I liked. The crowd loved him and I am glad, but for me I loved the tunes he did that night that I remembered on cd...too me he ruined Like A Rolling Stone tonight with whatever he called that arrangement.
I went home listening to his early cds and loved going back. Still love you Bob and loved your years of great cds.

I've seen Bob many times since 1967.
After Paso Robles Mid-State Fair and Savemart Center in Fresno two years ago, I was afraid he was loosing his desire to put on a great show. Thank God I was wrong. His performance, energy and enuciation was fantastic last Friday nite in Fresno.
I especially loved the Sick Of Love rendition.
Thanks again, Bob.
What a great show! This ranks as number two for me behind Stokton Arena in '06. Much better than the last time I saw hi in Fresno at the Save Mart Center. LoveSick was unbelievable. The perfromance of that song on this night might have been the greatest song I have seen the band play! My brother's first Dylan show and he rocked!

Like a complete unknown: Bob Dylan frogmarched to collect ID after rookie policewoman fails to recognise scruffy music legend
By Annette Witheridge

He has sold albums by the million and was the idol of the 1960s protest movement. But yesterday Bob Dylan discovered what it's like to be just a face in the crowd.
Police were called in a quiet seaside town after he was spotted freewheelin' down the street and apparently acting suspiciously. A 22-year-old female officer demanded to see his identification papers.
He assumed she would at least recognise the name if not the face. But she ordered him into the back of her car and took him to his hotel to check his story.
Then she radioed her older colleagues at the police station to ask if anyone knew who Bob Dylan was.
'I'm afraid we all fell about laughing,' said Craig Spencer, a senior officer in Long Branch, New Jersey. 'If it was me, I'd have been demanding his autograph, not his ID.
'The poor woman has taken rather a lot of abuse from us. I offered to bring in some of my Dylan albums. Unfortunately, she doesn't know what vinyl is either.'
It was in 1965 that Dylan wrote Like A Rolling Stone, with its line: 'How does it feel to be on your own, a complete unknown?'
He found out while staying at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch. Before taking part in a concert with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp, he decided to take a stroll through the town's Latin quarter.
'Residents called to complain there was an old scruffy man acting suspiciously,' said officer Spencer. 'It was an odd request because it was mid-afternoon. But it's an ethnic Latin area and the residents felt he didn't fit in.'

Came in from the wilderness, put my jeans on in the street
next to the car after swimming and waltzed right in -- BAM!
Well worth the 250 miles, just the You Aint Goin Nowhere
would have been worth it.
