Saw him Berkeley twice and then AZ. All shows were wonderful.
Not sure why a fight broke out in the AZ crowd though. Doesn't matter, seeing Dylan is always a moment that helps transcend reality and bring human truths into some kind of meaning that helps heal. Can't wait to see him again.

It was pretty incredible to see Bob and his band at the fair. After the previous show in AZ being canceled I was super excited to go to this one. It was shorter than I expected but sweet. Jolene was good and All Along the Watchtower, Memphis Blues, Love Sick, etc. I just wished I had better seats!! And security wouldn't let me near the front to have a better look or take a picture. Hopefully next time your in AZ Bob I can get to see you a little better! Blessings.

Great show-I wish it was longer

Charlie Sexton and the Band were outstanding! The crowd was a bit unruly, but overall it was a great show. Cat's in the well was a surprise, but I really dug it.

I wish Bob would have played his usual 17 songs, but I'm not complaining because I certainly got a discounted price. I look forward to seeing them again.

OUTSTANDING

This was my first time seeing Bob Dylan . I was so glade to have seen this with my 16 year old son...GREAT JOB.

Probably one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen..The ban ROCKED!!!

Great Show

If Bob is playing within a few hundred miles from Phoenix, you can bet I am going. This show was in walking distance from my home. No designated driver needed. Bobs vocals were strong and he seemed to be having a good time. Opening with Cat's in the Well was cool. The band was tight and it is really good to see Charlie again. As allways Oscar was right behind Bob. I'm ready for the next show.

Dylan was awesome!

I have seen Bob Dylan many times since the late '70s. Last night's show was so wonderful. I was right up front and he looked happy, relaxed, and he was jamming! I love it went he twists his knees to the side; you know he is into it. Every song was great and I particularly loved "Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again", "Lay Lady Lay" and "Workingman Blues 2". Another stunner was "Ballad of a Thin Man". Who is he referring to now? I had never heard that in concert. Thank you Bobby for all the music throughout the years and for Chronicles. I hope you come back to Phoenix soon. XOXOX

Great Show, Weird Crowd

Bob and the band put on a great show. They were tight and the setlist was a nice mix...despite it being a bit short. Having never been to a "state fair" show, Our fantastic front & center reserved seats on the first row of the 2nd section were compromised due to many of the "free with fair admission" G.A. folks rushing down to the ticketed area right in front of us. It was a big crowd and security obviously wasn't ready for this, though they did work hard to get it together after a few songs to clear the aisles. Great performance...weird crowd.

I've seen Dylan 4 times in

I've seen Dylan 4 times in Az and this show was the absolute best of the 4! Bob was more playful and energetic than I've ever seen him and the set list was just what I was hoping it would be, the perfect mix of Dylan then and now.

I'm actually still buzzing from this show! It was truly a joyous event!

The band was SUPER tight last night and it's a blessing and a treat to see Charlie Sexton in the mix again. That boy is still one of the best guitar players working today! What a GREAT show! Thanks Bob! See you next time!!

Thanks for bringing Charlie back!

Bob rocked and Charlie Sexton killed last night! (What an amazing player!
So grateful he is back in the band.) They shifted Thunder on the Mountain into overdrive balls-to-the-wall couldn't-stop-dancing crazy twist fest; same went for Highway 61 Revisited. Charlie channeled Hendrix and then some on All Along the Watchtower. Ballad of a Thin Man, one of my favorite of all Bob's songs, was a punch in the gut. The new tunes (Beyond Here Lies Nothin', If You Ever Go to Houston, and especially Jolene) sounded way better live than on the album, really made me appreciate Together Through Life more than I had up till now--with the exception of a few tunes, I hadn't been in love with it like I have been with other Dylan albums (hope that isn't blasphemous to admit). It would be great to hear David Hidalgo play accordion with these guys. We almost didn't get to have Bob here this fall--his earlier date (with Willie and Mellencamp)had been canceled due to an extreme heat warning--so we were even happier to get to hear him last night! Thank you!

Dylan Rocks

Great show...The only complaint is mathematical in nature, all of Dylan's non-state fair shows have featured 17 songs, we only got 14...I wanted three more!

Merchendise

Yeah, they do sell merchendise before the concert. There are posters, cd's, and t-shirts.

wonderful. haven't seen him since the tour with the band -- the l.a. forum, many years ago. his voice is stronger, his attitude looser, his playing is more nuanced, his genius burns brighter, he looks to be having so much more fun. god i loved this evening. the old stuff was full of fresh licks (hell, "all along the watchtower" had a whole new melody!) and the new stuff rivaled the best of the old. his band is fantastic. thanks, bob.
