My wife and I were there with our 25-year-old daughter and some of her friends. We all loved it. Great set. I appreciated the variety, old and new. I'm glad he played, Not Dark Yet. There is a great new Web site that has a story by that name that was inspired by Dylan. hawkstories.com.

My daughter and her friends though the show was amazing, too. It brought me tears, when Bob was singing and Hanna kept saying, "Can you believe it, there's Bob Dylan. We're here with Bob Dylan." I'll never forget it. The tickets were actually a Christmas gift from my daughters. One of the best gifts ever. I wish I had the time and money to go to Chicago. Keep it up, Bob.

This was second time that we've been to Dylan concert this year. We were at the ballpark in Illinois. Both were great, but we enjoyed the one in Springfield more. If you've never been to a concert, get there this Fall. You may not have another chance to see the greatest singer-songwriter ever.

Thanks for the help. I was thinking that he did play guitar for Don't Think Twice and Wife's Hometown, but I wasn't sure if that was it or not.

I thought the show was great. The sound quality at the Shrine wasn't great, but that never gets me down too much. It sounded much better on the floor, however, than in the seats where we started the show. Ballad of a Thin Man was stunning. Worth 50 bucks alone.

I thought he's done 17 songs before he came back for Jolene and Watchtower. Aren't there a couple missing from this list?

Have a look at expectingrain.com where they have both set list and reviews:
http://www.boblinks.com/102509s.html (from Springfield).
2. Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (Bob on guitar)
4. My Wife's Home Town (Bob on guitar).

I really liked this set list (too).

I have been in love with Bob Dylan since I was 11 and have been forever sad he didn't wait for me to grow up. ;) Blowin' in the Wind was the first song I ever played and sang with my guitar.

I loved the show last night. He is still a very powerful man with a strong voice. Those deep bass notes went straight into my heart.

I was filled with a great joy to see so many young people there and really getting him. Makes me feel hopeful that the 'ain't dark yet' may have to wait awhile in 'getting there'

Thanks Bobby, sending love, light and strength your way always.

Got to find a way to one of the next 5 shows!!! Truck not too roadworthy now... real bummer. Besides work won't let me have any time off. If opportunity presents itself (plane trip to Chicago ????) and I get my shifts covered, I'm freakin' there in costume at the "GON" on Hallows Eve !! lol what should I go as ???
