№9 Dream

the first - the one
posted Nov 7 2008 by №9 Dream

I heard Dylan for the first time when I was 18. Well, it was not so long ago.. - I'm 20. It was "The Concert for Bangladesh" DVD-film (so, thanx to George Harrison). I fell in love with Bob immediately. He was standing there on the stage and singing, so beautiful - he was the only one, 'cause I forgot about everything - I was crying... Only later I read some lyrics. Oooh... I can't even describe what exactly I felt at the time. I was impressed. More than just impressed. I was knocked out. And it was ME - a little Russian girl.. I could imagine what Dylan's lyrics do to the Americans. I wish I was born in some english-speaking country, because then I would have a chance to feel the meanings better, to understand much more... I love him anyway. Bob Dylan is a perfect man, I swear! I have all his records (well, almost all of them)) in my collection, because they are ALL great.
