Great art
I like the etching. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome and excellent work
bernard, great job and thanks for sharing man.
glad you posted it
I LIKE IT !
I have to laugh at that last comment about telling you to stop
your art. Pretty funny. Bob would really like that: no visuals like t-shirts, mugs, his art, all the stuff he sells in the Bob Dylan store, etc. No CDs. Pretty funny. It takes all kinds.
Hope sales are good.
my eyes
Well, if you've got something against recorded visuals, I guess you shouldn't listen to his recorded music either. Just go see him live, while he still is.
bernard, i turn my eyes away
from the etchings, the moments captured in time 2 remember him. he is not gone! we have him with us. so put away the drawings and the films until he is no longer with us. we can immortalize him then, 4 now lets keep him human and close 2 our beating hearts.
i hope i never live 2 see the day he is gone, but if i do, please take out ALL the art work u have ever created of him and let me feast my eyes thru the tears.

Washington Heights Concert
Cool etching. My wife and I were at this concert, Bob was great. He was in a good mood, dancing around, enjoying himself, and played a perfect blend of new and classic.
The band looked like humanoid undertaker cowboys. No criticism, but there's something sinister about them. Probably theatrics, or maybe it was the hot dog I ate at the theater -- I can still taste it.
The audience was fantastic, very positive, and the whole experience resembled a love-in. Towards the end we moved forward to join the crowd dancing in the aisles. It was cool to be close enough to see facial expressions. The next time Bob is playing in the New York area I will definitely dig deep, and spring for the better seats.
After the concert I convinced my wife to hang out behind the theater in the hopes of possibly seeing Bob exit. It was a frigid night, so there were only about 10 other fans braving the elements. A short time later Bob came out, wearing his cowboy hat, and made a beeline straight for the tour bus door. We were rewarded with a quick glance in our direction. The sighting made my wife's night, and mine too. Of course I took credit for, and endlessly hyped my "brilliant" idea -- hehe, can't let the rare opportunity to extol my husbandly virtues. We ran after the bus and would have run clear across the George Washington Bridge, if I hadn't left my E-ZPass in the car :)
As for myself, I've been a Dylan fan since public school when we "had" to sing Blowin' in The Wind during 4th grade auditorium class circa 1968. My wife is a much more committed fan than I am. She's read every book about Dylan, and owns every Cd no matter how tangential or repetitive.
Sorry for digressing, but the etching really set my mind going. Hey, I bet the painter Dylan would dig it.
Great work,
I like it very much!

Art, "Sad Eyes"
Hi Bob, As a big fan of yours, I recently purchased books about your career and a small ink drawing titled, "Sad Eyes"from an estate sale in the Los Angeles area. I'd love to know what and/or who inspired this masterful work of art. I'm can scan it in if you would like.
The books are filled with loving notes about your work as a musician and as an artist. I've worked professionally in art for years, so this means a lot to me.
Many thanks! Barbara
