Why are Noah and the Whale so bloomin' brilliant? I've never listened to their words before but today I did and it was amazing. No wonder the guy got pissed off at one of his concerts when everyone was shouting 'Five Years Time, Five Years Time', just because they like the bloody catchy tune; but 'There's more to me than that'. You can just hear him saying it inside himself to his audience. I love their lyrics. They are understated but profound. Even pseudo-religious. It's marvellous. Why are not more people writing and making music like this?

I'm completely new to this site and thought I'd try to give you all a wee message from bonny Scotland. And no I'm not secretly hoping that Dylan actually reads this rubbish and will be impressed with the mention of Scotland because he's written a song about the Highlands and has a castle somewhere near Inverness, or so I've heard; no, I'm merely stating a fact. I would like to say that I really especially like and admire B.Ds music and it speaks to me in a funny kind of way but I think that you are all mad and should calm down about the whole ticket thing.
