I went to the concert last night, but we decided "What the heck, let's go early" so we could walk around a bit. We drove til we got to the Hard Rock Hotel. We arrived around 5 ish, and saw this BIG beautiful tour bus parked on the side of the Hard Rock. We said "IT'S BOB'S TOUR BUS!!!" Well... we were wrong, because when we parked in the parking lot and started to get out of the car. All OF A SUDDEN, we saw this HUGE black tour bus pull up in front of the other bus. My heart felt like it was going to LEAP from my chest---- Oh my God... It WAS BOB'S TOUR BUS!!!! We ran really fast, but we were not allowed to get close to the bus, and my hands were SHAKING and I kept saying OH MY GOD, BOB IS GOING TO GET OUT. We waited.. What seemed forever was only a few seconds. Security was VERY tight, but we could still see close enough to watch who got out. AND suddenly THE MAN, THE LEGEND, HIMSELF got off the bus!!!!!! IT WAS BOB!!!! It looked like he had a hooded sweatshirt on. Oh my GOD.. ALL WE COULD DO IS LOOK.... I yelled HEY BOB!!!! and waved to him. I know he did not notice us, he just hurried inside the Hard Rock. with security around him. NEVER in my wildest dreams could we have thought we would have a close encounter seeing Bob getting out of his tour bus. He got off this HUGE bus by himself. Must be nice to have a whole bus to yourself.... People were walking by and asking us WHO'S BUS IS THAT??? We said "Bob Dylan's bus" They would say WOW!!!! Security thanked us for being nice, and not going crazy. First of all, anybody with COMMON sense, would not EVEN TRY to get close to his bus!!!! Second of all, who would be STUPID and take that chance??? NOT ME!!!! We went to the show smiling, and telling everyone who would listen that we saw Bob get out of his bus. The show was FABULOUS. Bob was JAMMIN'. He jammed and we rocked!!!! That place was ROCKIN' last night!!! It was soo loud the roof could have came off the place!!! The Hard Rock Hotel the Joint, WAS THE PLACE TO BE last night!!!! I can still feel the vibes from last night. The 18th Oct. 2009, will be the day and evening I will always remember in my heart.
Here is a quote from today's Las Vegas newspaper:

"Bob Dylan smiled.
There he was, the self-styled cowboy drifter, poet laureate of rock 'n' roll, fronting a five-piece band at the Joint Sunday night, playing some down-home rockabilly blues and breathing new life into classics that got the middle-aged-office-job crowd swinging their hips and shaking some serious tail.
By any measure, it was a knockout. And Dylan, who celebrated his 68th birthday in May, seemed to love every minute of it."
This is part of what was printed in the Las Vegas paper today. Last night's show was WONDERFUL, and truly a night to remember.....
