Bob's tour of Europe 2009 is now over, much the pity*. He's back home in the States about to take off on another tour of baseball stadiums. I'm sure it will be good ... I saw him as I have already said in Dublin on May 5 and he was good; rockin' in fact and the band, too. George Recile probably deserves a medal for the effort he put in! I'm doing this now because I saw a wonderful bunch of pix of Bob Dylan and the band at a shindig for Michael Douglas at the Sony Pictures Studio in California on June 11 and I wanted to share one with you all ... we do not seem to be able to share more than pic, it seems. Bob and band were guests at the event which marked Douglas' many years of triumph in the movie business. Jack Nicholson was MC for the event in the same way he was in charge at the celebration for Bob a while back when he did the raucus version of Masters of War at the height of the Iraq war. Bob looked out of it at that event and so did Nicholson as he did at this one! Anyway, we shall eventually see the event on our TV screens. The picture I have chosen shows Bob and Donnie Herron.
