Well, it's been a while since I put finger to keyboard ... too busy, I guess ... not a lot to say or tell ...Tired up happy, probably sums up how I feel .. it's been an eventful year with illness, then retirement, then rejuvenation ... too much to say has happened ... but I am glad to be alive to be able to say that ... so many people seem to loose their lives at a moments notice ...they don't get a chance to reflect on what they are doing or planning to do ... just look at India, look at Iraq, look at Afganistan, Pakistan, England ...oh, all over the place ... and there's so little we can do to prevent or stop it ... I have been listening to Infidels .... Bob's album with Mark Knopfler partly at the controls ... Man of Peace, Union Sundown, Neighborhood Bully, Licence to Kill ... all hard-hitting stuff from the man ... lines comes to my mind:

Man thinks 'cause he rules the earth,
he can do with it as he please.
And if thiings don't change soon, he will
Oh, man has invented his doom ....

Then there's this:

But I guess that's better left unsaid ...

Well, he said it, we been living it ... where it will end is anyone's guess, I suppose. So, keep well, keep smiling, keep listening to music that helps you keep going, and keep the peace. That's my hope for 2009 ... and before, it's too late to say it ... have a Happy Christmas. I always like to end with .... Cheers!
