Dear Bob Dylan, My name is Carmela. I was born on July 19, 1959. My Dad,'Richard", better known as "Mickey, who was born in 1933 married my mother, Mary Ann in 1958 in Crookston, MN where I was born and raised. I was the second child of five girls born to our family. My Dad worked at the phone company and my Mom stayed home. With no brothers and not much money, we listened to most of the music either on the radio or at someone elses house. When I was about 15 years old I bought the Album, "Desire". This is the only album I ever bought. The picture cover is so beautiful, you are so wise and handsome and dressed so beautifully. Maybe you were on the top of Mt. Everest when you made this beautiful album, it is so fine and splendid and clear, and lovely, the stories, how clever and witty, nothing can compare to this masterpiece, a one of it's kind. Thank you so much for it. I will write back again and tell you more about you and things and people who have happened to me and how you matter, oh so much.
