real christmas
posted Dec 18 2009 by fionnbhru5

why does bobby play christmas straight it is my belief that
he had no choice the chosen songs do not lend themselves
to tinkering and besides christmas is to precious to be played
any other way even if you are DYLAN also we neglect to believe
at the end of the day bobby is a believer also it is my belief that
this is a tribute album listen closely to drummer boy and we hear more than echoes of cash he says himself that must be
santa is is a steal christmas blues is an old dean martin number
and probably the strongest song on christmas in the heart so
bobby is once again pulling from what he inherits musically and
makes it his own and this is fairytale of new york post modern
dickensian punk 21st century recessionary christmas and we should listen just for that reason alone many many times i hear
people say of dylan i dont get or why does do this or that at the
end of the day stop tryin so blooody hard and just chillax as my
15 yr old says she hears the joy of this album and so should we all
