Dreamtime is back after a long hiatus at the prodding of several fans who wanted to know exactly why Jerry Lee Lewis was channeling Willy the Shake on the Blood and War episodes of TTRH.
Here's the story of Catch my Soul, with side excursions featuring Sonny and Cher, and The Thing With Two Heads.

One of the many things I wish bobdylan.com would change is this anti-blog protocol of putting new posts at the end rather than top of the page, but we carry on...
The story of the American legend that's still alive and well in 2000 and 8, his story still told in bars and barracks, pool-halls and whore-houses. His song sung every day by both white boys and black.
Jody. Even if you don't know who he is, you know he's trouble.
A 52-minute podcast, and probably as close to a Theme Time Radio Hour as I'm likely to get.

It's a different sort of Dreamtime this time around. I recently had the opportunity to interview one of my favorite vocalists and interpreter of Bob Dylan songs, Maria Muldaur, and our Episode 57 focuses on Maria's latest release, Yes, We Can! which showcases the work of a variety of songwriters, including Marvin Gaye, Allen Toussaint, Earl King, Garth Brooks, and Bob Dylan himself.

While the new, improved bobdylan.com is a valuable resource for all Bob Dylan fans, a glaring omission is the total lack of any Theme Time Radio Hour content. You wouldn't even know that Mr. D. has a radio show from exploring bobdylan.com except for the poster giveaway being offered at the store.
Like Chronicles - which also doesn't seem to have its own page on bobdylan.com - TTRH is a valuable part of Bob Dylan's current career, and deserves to have some recognition on his namesake site, even if its is focus is primarily on the music of Bob Dylan.

The Dreamtime Podcast is commentary on Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour, usually about something Dylan has said during one of his shows that has intrigued me, or my digging a little deeper into the story of the musician or song. Occasionally, I go off on a tangent that has little or nothing to do with "Theme Time."
