My first Bob Dylan concert, and I am so happy! Dylan was awesome....he smiled, he laughed, he danced, he was very animated. From other concert reviews I didn't expect him to move from behind the keyboards. But he really surprised me last night! He was wigglin' those hips behind the keys, he was making eye contact and talking to Charlie Sexton, he sang many songs center stage, and he even talked to the audience a couple of times!!

I'm counting the days until I go to my very first Bob Dylan concert! Next Saturday, Halloween!
What's even more exciting is that my two little ones are very excited too! My 8 year-old son's favorite song is "Masters of War," and my 6 year-old daughter's favorite song is "Knockin' On Heaven's Door." I've uploaded my daughter's favorite picture....she calls it 'Poofy-hair Dylan." They both want to come along to the concert......not going to happen....so for now they're enjoying listening to his music with me and their dad. - Oct 08
I'm not exactly sure why I never gave Dylan a second listen. My husband loves Dylan, and so do my brother and sister. I've heard of the more popular ones like "Mr. Tambourine Man," but never went beyond that song.
Then one night I was watching the surprisingly interesting super-hero movie, Watchmen, and heard "Desolation Row," "The Times They Are A-Changin," and "All Along the Watchtower," all songs I've heard in other movies, but never realized and couldn't believe they were Dylan. My husband laughed at my naivety.
