So, I stumbled upon the Basement tapes about a month ago (the actual 108 of them), and I have to say that they have honestly changed my life. I'm amazed at what such a genius one man can truly be. If any one else has ever heard these true diamonds in the rough I'm sure you will quickly agree that without Bob Dylan there would be no music. He is the foundation for so much, and every time you see him he gets better and better. I hope that when I am his age I too can still dabble at the guitar and harp as much as this man can. So if you haven't heard the basement tapes yet, do yourself a favor and spend a solid three weeks up all night looking for them like I did. It will pay off mark my words.
