The most recent "Theme Time Radio" episode I've heard was about streets/roads--I really enjoyed it! I hope I can catch it again though. There were a couple of things he said about the history of cross-country routes that I wanted to follow up on. I know I've said it before, but I sure miss the 24 hour broadcasts of his show. I miss walking around the house and hearing bits of commentary that I somehow didn't catch the first time around, miss listening to the show in one web-window, while looking up the current artist, place, or "happening" in the other!

I blame the loss of the 24-hour airing of "Theme Time Radio," and a lot of other things I liked about XM, on this recent merger with Sirius. I suppose that there are Sirius patrons feeling the same way from their side--loss of things they liked too (though I don't know personally what those things are). Compromise: an occasion in which both sides come to an agreement in which all parties involved are left equally miserable.

Mergers, bailouts, layoffs, two-months of Christmas sales...You know what it comes down to. We all getting to be so poor, that the church mice are askin' us if we need something to eat, and a warm place to sleep. ^_^
