modern day soldier

the survivor making his way 2 a weekly paycheck when more than half goes 2 the govt. in taxes. he woke up violantly 2 an alarm clock and fought his way out the door trying 2 not be late. more than his money, this daily grind was eating away at his time. it began 2 bother him, but he knew, like on an Animal Farm, 2 keep his gaze straight and not show the slightest tint of emotion, otherwise be found out and exposed as NOT a team player, weak & destroyable.
the power in numbers was beginning 2 show, he felt the smallness of being in the rank and file, but ignored his sorrow and made a final attempt at finding joy. he fought hard, he fought long, he was made with a dream and wasnt about 2 give up hope. his strength of faith was his beauty.

Great Lyrics

Dylan's lyrics are amazing. I never tire of listening to his songs. I lot of people say that he should have stuck to song writing, and let someone else do the singing, but he has such a distinctive voice, I think that's part of the reason why I like him so much. Toronto Real Estate Agent
