Bob Dylan is truly a man of all seasons.
He has a song for every emotion. Love, Hate, Despair, Hope, Birth, Death and every thing else in between! I remember listening to this genius for the first time when i was about 9.. I still remember it was Mr.Tambourine man .. and that has stuck with me ever since.Then of course as I began to discover myself I felt like his music expressed everything I felt! From his thoughts on war and peace.. in fact a very realistic approach to it through songs like 'blowin in the wind' and " Its a hard rain'.. to love songs.. and songs about change (being a very rebellious child I especially liked "times they are a changing" because I loved the lines

"..Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'...." )

and then he went on to a deeper realisation of what life really is..with songs like "hurricane"...and honestly speaking.. all his songs have a deeper thought sown within.. and just when you dismiss something as just a love song.. you discover the thought and the pain within...
i seriously doubt if there are ANY songs which do not have that element of absolute magic of weaving in complex thoughts so simply...
He's a poet.. a visionary.. almost a wizard when it comes to his work.. and I mean each composition... ranging from "Maggie's farm" to "its a hard rain.." .. each one is carefully and brilliantly handled.. that whatever the time of the day it is .. its always perfect for more of Dylan... and its never enough.. and never will be.. I just hope I'm lucky enough to meet him once and thank him for the wonderful gift he's given all his listeners... for years and years... enriching every second.. every moment...

Yes... he truly is a man of all seasons..of all colours ... of every emotion.. of every moment.. and a person who's decades ahead of the world in his thoughts.. and most importantly... FOREVER YOUNG
