One Hundred Dollar Misunderstanding
Robert Gover's book "One Hundred Dollar Misunderstanding" is a novel from the 1960's. Bob apparently makes mention of having read the book in his interview with StudsTerkel. The curiosity of a Dylan recommended book led my dad to purchase and read the book. It was then passed along to me. I hope to one day persuade someone else to read it.

College boy Jimmy thinks he knows a thing or two about sex. Kitten working in a house on the other side of the tracks thinks she knows a thing or two about how to get an "investment."

Discovering Dylan
In highschool and way before, there seemed to be this thing among girls to crush over Brad Pitt or I don't even know who. Whoever it was, they were seen to be "attractive." I missed that. I mean I was very "girly" up to a point, don't get me wrong, but it stopped fairly early. The pink everything, the closet full of dresses and the Barbies took a permanent leave. In the fifth grade my aunt gave me Abbey Road for a gift, and from then on I was out to display the "hippie' persona of what I felt through the hours I spent listening and not looking at some "hot" poster.

Waiting for you
Walking along in the hot sun, I examined outdoor sales. Quickly catching my attention I spotted a lonely book with the Freewheelin' picture as the cover. I picked it up. Priced at a mere 4 bucks I knew I must purchase this Bob-related material. It was A Freewheelin' Time by Suze Rotolo. I did judge by the cover (just as one should not) and therefore expected a great deal...expecting as much in the printed word, as by the sounds that follow the album cover. However, why was it cheaply priced?
