I first became aware of Bob Dylan in the late eighties. I’m sure my parents must’ve been aware of him, and maybe even liked him back in the day, but I certainly don’t remember hearing them played around the house. They mostly listened to musical theatre. As a result, when I was a teen I could enjoy The Beatles without the stigma of knowing that my parents liked them too (even though they probably did). All through high school and junior high all I listened to were Weird Al and The Beatles.
