This is spooky. Yesterday in my car on my way home from Saturday shopping I heard this song and it caught my attention and it's one of the songs I haven't listen to that much before and I decided to read the lyrics when I came home. I forgot all about it and first now when I checked out last night's playlist I found out that Dylan sang it yesterday and I wonder if that was the first time this fall...
BOB DYLAN IS INSIDE MY BRAIN STEALING MY THOUGHTS!
LOL :) It's so great I have a favourite artist with so many albums and songs so even if I have heard a lot there are always new songs to discover and my taste when it comes to songs changes all the time.
To Ramona

Ramona, come closer,
Shut softly your watery eyes.
The pangs of your sadness
Shall pass as your senses will rise.
The flowers of the city
Though breathlike, get deathlike at times.
And there's no use in tryin'
T' deal with the dyin',
Though I cannot explain that in lines.
Your cracked country lips,
I still wish to kiss,
As to be under the strength of your skin.
Your magnetic movements
Still capture the minutes I'm in.
But it grieves my heart, love,
To see you tryin' to be a part of
A world that just don't exist.
It's all just a dream, babe,
A vacuum, a scheme, babe,
That sucks you into feelin' like this.
I can see that your head
Has been twisted and fed
By worthless foam from the mouth.
I can tell you are torn
Between stayin' and returnin'
On back to the South.
You've been fooled into thinking
That the finishin' end is at hand.
Yet there's no one to beat you,
No one t' defeat you,
'Cept the thoughts of yourself feeling bad.
I've heard you say many times
That you're better 'n no one
And no one is better 'n you.
If you really believe that,
You know you got
Nothing to win and nothing to lose.
From fixtures and forces and friends,
Your sorrow does stem,
That hype you and type you,
Making you feel
That you must be exactly like them.
I'd forever talk to you,
But soon my words,
They would turn into a meaningless ring.
For deep in my heart
I know there is no help I can bring.
Everything passes,
Everything changes,
Just do what you think you should do.
And someday maybe,
Who knows, baby,
I'll come and be cryin' to you.

Take What You've Gathered From Coincidence
Some times I hear on the TV people say things like ~~I don't believe in "coincidence"
What's not to believe? Coincidence is just what it says it is ~~two things (or incidents) co (or together) occurring. They either occurred together or they didn't.
What I think they mean to say is (and I blame the script writers) ~~I don't believe in JUST coincidence....which means they put more stock in a thing (or read more into it) than JUST the fact two things happened at once.
Though often what they're trying to say is they don't put any more stock in it ~~other than two things simply happening at once.
But forget all that BECAUSE we have our instruction....TAKE what you've GATHERED from coincidence....in other words....go ahead ~~connect the dots! ...draw conclusions!....figure it out!...do the math!....accept how fine I am and be glad ~~delight!
I think...no, I know ~~ I'm certain...these two things are not JUST coincidence and nothing more...this is one of HIS SIGNITURE moves...His way of tweaking your world....(wow! make that YOUR world)....your little sweat pinch to the cheek....God's way of saying "I am here sweat pea, I am a God who is near...you!"
Who else on the planet got such a sweat personally-addressed I-will-rock-your-world note that day?
Spooky? Yes. Perfect? Absolutely!

"To Ramona" was played for the first time October the 31st this year. Spooky! Or just a coincidence. :)
