I got arrested for trying to see my Dad.
It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
A judge made it all disappear,
But the memory makes it forever clear.

You must be very careful where you go.
But look out you won't have to go very far.
Suddenly you're a suspect and then you'll know,
That it's no fun in the back seat of a police car.

So the next time you see a stranger on TV,
Being escorted away in a hurry and a fuss,
