Like I said in my last blog, I can't just pick one favorite song, so let me just talk about my favorite song that has been covered wonderfully by a friend of mine - it is "Tangled up in blue." My friend from high school learned this song over 10 years ago. I saw him play it at gigs and at private get-togethers. It was always wonderful. Every time I hear it, I think of the good times that us and our friends had. Especially poignant, now is the last part about old friends. He and many of my old friends are so spread out over the country and the world - but good friendships have a way of transcending distance and time.
