Blues
posted Dec 8 2008 by Sweetmary

Joan Baez in “No direction home the documentary” says(approximately with these words): “there are people who don’t like Bob Dylan music ,don’t care of, but when someone gets into them and likes his songs (Dylan ones) goes deep”
That is absolutely true. And when you go deep for something everything around you has a meaning of it. I even could name every single photo of mine as a subject or anything from the Dylan world but I like to choose those are completely taken for Dylan and while he was in my mind.

*I took this photo from TV when there were news about Bob Dylan receiving a prize. I like this photo. I feel the passed times. I like it because of the effects what made his portrait surrounded by an areola. Also I like the time dates below and the logo of Euronews network. These are all in a good composition and made the photo alive. The title might be “and the time will tell”.

* And about the other ones. Once I was walking along with my camera. I suddenly faced a passage which the walls were covered with newspapers, for they were painting through the roof. I came in and started to take photos those I really like. When I was doing my job I had an idea about making a video clip for “subterranean homesick blues” in there! that atmosphere and the smell I was smelling in there from the paint and the wet papers just remembered me that song Maybe for I was listening Bobby’s voice at the time. Anyway I was thinking about the idea like someone is passing through the corridors and stairs carrying a guitar and a harmonica by neck ,singing: “Johnny's in the basement ,mixing up the medicine, I'm on the pavement ,thinking about the government ,the man in the trench coat ,badge out, laid off…”and some guys are following him everywhere he passes.
These are about sixty photos. These are seven of them. The title for each one is “subterranean homesick blues”.
If you read this and are interested about my idea for the clip or have some ideas to improve the main one, please let me know.
Thanks
