Meeting so many kind and smiling faces in Seattle was icing on the cake to an already euphoric 2 day adventure..I had a wonderful time. Thank you to all i met along the way..special thanks to Teresa and Brian for seeing me back to the hotel after the Wamu show.
It was such an incredible experience all around for me. At the Moore i found myself close to the front of the stage. I was in heaven!
When Bob sang Not Dark Yet, i got a little misty. The whole nite was rocking and if this was any indication of the future shows, everyone is in for a wonderful treat!
The next nite at the WaMu theatre, arriving in the lineup at 3pm only to find 100 people ahead of me, (some as early as 530am..some were there at noon..) i still managed to get near enough to the front of the stage i could see the twinkle in bobs eyes:)
I was worn out from standing but not so tired i couldnt bop to bob and the band and it impossible not to dance anyway. They were SO fired up.. and the songlist had changed ever so slightly. Not Dark Yet wasnt present..but instead, bob stood center stage and gave us a most incredible Forgetful Heart version...and silly me..obeying the rules and not taking any video with my camera like others obviously were. That song left me weak in the knees. Bob, you rock. Your band is the best in the world.
